WE'RE HIRING: Seeking a Communications Assistant to Join Our Collaborative Team

Rapp Strategies, Inc., a strategic counsel and communications firm specializing in issue and reputation management challenges, is looking to add a new member to its account team. We work with interesting companies, trade groups, nonprofits and government agencies. Our specialties include strategic thinking, navigating complex issues, mitigating risks, building reputation capital, and helping clients leverage big ideas to accomplish their goals.

Based in the Twin Cities, we are seeking a talented individual who wants to grow in our profession. The ideal candidate possesses strong social and digital media skills, can juggle multiple assignments and relishes new challenges. You should have at least one year of relevant professional experience, including internships.

Working with our account staff and leadership team, you will be asked to produce high-quality work that supports clients' objectives. You may also be asked to perform various office management tasks as you learn and grow with our firm. Some of the skills and experience that Rapp Strategies has found to be advantageous includes:

  • Digital media writing and planning

  • Creativity across social media platforms

  • Distinguished writing that is appropriate to the medium and audiences

  • Management of multiple projects or tasks simultaneously

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of software, design programs (such as the Adobe Creative Suite and Canva) and/or website platforms (such as Squarespace and WordPress)

  • Internships or other employment in communications

  • Media or media relations experience

  • Ability to research and distill information

  • Eagerness to take on new challenges
