Meet Our Team Member

With more than four decades practicing law and leading government affairs at a national law firm, Rich brings a wealth of experience to RSI as a senior counselor. His deep insight into the Minnesota political landscape helps the firm and its clients anticipate risk, understand nuance and navigate complex regulatory environments with confidence.

Rich plays a key role in building and strengthening relationships, providing introductions to influential stakeholders across government, business and civic sectors. He also guides the Rapp Strategies team through legal, policy and government affairs considerations, helping strengthen strategy and ensuring clients benefit from a well‑informed, practical understanding of who the industry leaders in Minnesota are and how decisions are made.

Rich currently serves on the board of the Metropolitan Airports Commission and on the board of Crescent Cove, Minnesota’s first hospice home for children. He previously served as a board member and as chair of the board for the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce. Rich holds a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
